The Space

The Dairy is a beautifully restored 1894 stone cottage designed for couples seeking a romantic country escape. Rich in character, the cottage blends original stonework and rustic charm with modern comforts, creating an intimate retreat perfect for honeymoons, anniversaries, wedding guests or simply time away together.

The spacious master suite features a luxurious king bed, air conditioning and a large Smart TV, allowing you to relax in comfort while taking in views across the gardens and countryside. Soak in a private outdoor bath beneath the stars with a glass of local wine in hand, warm up beside the crackling potbelly fire, or indulge in a locally sourced cheese platter for the ultimate romantic escape.

A fully equipped kitchen, cosy seating area and intimate dining table create the perfect setting for slow breakfasts and relaxed evenings. For an extra touch of indulgence, breakfast provisions can be arranged prior to your arrival, please contact your host for further information.

Surrounded by 14 acres of peaceful farmland, guests are welcome to wander the grounds, reconnect with nature and enjoy the tranquillity of country living. The Dairy is the first cottage on your left as you enter the Currency Creek Cottages estate. Please note there are two other accommodation properties located on the property, and we kindly ask all guests to be mindful and respectful of others enjoying their stay. For larger groups, all three cottages can be booked together for wedding accommodation, intimate celebrations and special events. Guest Access

Guests who book The Dairy enjoy exclusive access to the entire home. There are also an additional two other holiday homes on the property, each with its own independance. The Dairy offers the perfect balance of shared spaces and privacy, ideal for groups of friends or families travelling together.

We love to help our guests feel welcome and comfortable! While we won’t be on-site during your stay, we are always available via platform messaging if you have any questions, need local recommendations, or need assistance with anything during your stay. We have a guide book for your convenience on our Airbnb profile and we will be happy to check in with you when you arrive to make sure everything is perfect. We are a message away if you need anything!

Other things to note

– Quiet hours are strictly observed from 10 PM to 8 AM—please respect our neighbours and fellow guests.
– Parties and events are not permitted. – The maximum guest occupancy is 10 people and must not be exceeded.
– For safety, please ensure all fires are fully extinguished before leaving the property. The outdoor fire door mustbe supervised at all times. Kindly follow the fire safety instructions provided in the handbook.

Please be aware that the fire danger season typically runs from November through May. Fires are strictly prohibited on Total Fire Ban days. Guests are responsible for checking current fire restrictions online before lighting any fire. Any fines incurred due to non-compliance during your stay will be your responsibility, and the property owners are not liable for these penalties.

Pets:

Pets are welcome by prior arrangement and subject to mutual agreement with the host. A standard pet fee of $100 per stay applies and is not included in the initial booking cost. Guests are responsible for supervising and caring for their pets throughout their stay, including cleaning up after them both inside and outside the property. Any damage, excessive cleaning, or additional maintenance required as a result of a pet’s stay may incur further charges.

Getting Around

Getting around is easy from Currency Creek. There are many beaches, walking trails and local cafés that you can reach with car access, while Victor Harbor and Port Elliot are a short drive along the coast.
