Welcome to our charming cottage, the original homestead on this stunning 180-acre property. Perfectly designed for families or small groups, the cottage comfortably sleeps 6 guests. With plenty of space to explore, enjoy private walking trails, access to the Coorong, and a peaceful bird hide surrounded by native Australian bush and wildlife.

Outdoor enthusiasts will love the entertainment area featuring table tennis, games, and a cozy fire pit with ample seating under twinkling festoon lights in an enclosed, mosquito-free outdoor area. Inside, the cottage is a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. Relax by the indoor fire pit in the spacious, open-plan kitchen and living area, or retreat to the master bedroom where large windows frame views of the wilderness and kangaroos. The kids will love the fun bunk room, while all beds are made up with soft, professionally laundered cotton sheets.

With a large bathroom and laundry facilities, including a washing machine and dryer, everything you need for a comfortable stay is right at your fingertips.

The main bedroom features a cozy queen-sized bed with freshly laundered sheets, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. With plenty of wardrobe space to store clothes and bags, you’ll feel right at home. A ceiling fan above the bed provides a refreshing breeze for ultimate comfort.

The bunk room is perfect for kids or extra guests, with two comfy bunk beds and professionally laundered sheets, ready for a great sleep and to restore some more energy for another day of adventure!

The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials for preparing delicious meals, and there’s also an outdoor BBQ for al fresco dining.

Our wonderful caretaker, Steve, looks after the land, and you may occasionally see him around. He values his privacy and is often found sailing his boat on the Coorong. Rest assured, he is discreet and ensures the property remains beautifully maintained, so you can enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay.

Our property uses rainwater, which is safe to drink, but we kindly ask that you use it thoughtfully. To ensure your convenience, bottled water will be provided in the fridge upon your arrival. We appreciate your care in preserving this valuable resource during your stay.

PLEASE NOTE: There is another property, The Dune House, located beyond the cottage. This is private property, and we kindly ask that you respect its boundaries and refrain from driving up there. Guests share access to the walking paths, bird blind, and beach. We kindly ask that you respect the privacy of each property. If you’re interested in renting both properties together, please don’t hesitate to ask – this option accommodates up to 21 guests.
